Help Play Your* Part create more innovative new works in 2020, and employ actors, technicians, and designers to help keep the art of live theatre going during this global crisis.
On October 10th anyone who donates will be able to experience an encore of our international broadcast, live-streamed, ASL Integrated production of Oedipus the King.
Twelve actors and two ASL Interpreters bring to life this timeless, cautionary tale, in a fully produced and choreographed production featuring original masks, costumes, set, lighting, and sound design. Play Your* Part is honored to promote the Hearing, Speech, and Deaf Center for this production.
In December we will be premiering our most ambitious project yet... an international broadcast, live-streamed 1920's jazz and rap infused musical extravaganza! As part of our developing anti-racist commitment, Play Your* Part has moved their focus to employing more BIPOC in each cast, on each production and design team, and within the organization. Play Your* Part will proudly partner with the King County Sexual Assault Resource Center and SWOP-Seattle (Sex Workers Outreach Project) for this production.
And always ...
Your support creates a sense of community through a live performance being experienced right alongside others in your home, down the street, in another state, or on the other side of the Atlantic.
Play Your* Part for the future of live theatre, and donate to our campaign today!
